My Journey from Womanhood to Motherhood

mother with baby

Hello Friends,

Today, I am going to share my experience of becoming a mom. The world of a mom is way different than the world of a woman. Now, I have a two-year-old baby who calls me mom, which does feel good, but the realisation of being a mother is surreal.

At first, it is very difficult to be a mother. We feel we would not be able to do it, but later, we enjoy the journey of motherhood. Carrying a child for 9 months in the belly and caring for him/her from the time we conceived him/her strengthen’s the relationship between a mom and her baby; that’s where it starts. Each decision a woman makes for her child is important. Therefore, always be careful before taking any decision for your child.

Through the child, we see our childhood, too, and understand how our mother used to take care of us. Every little thing they do is a moment to cherish. There are more things to learn before being a mom, such as how to take care of the baby, which food to feed, the daily routine, and knowing what the child is likely to do at a certain age. Mothers should keep observing their babies.

There will be opinions from others, too. Everyone will tell you what is good for the baby and what is not. But, we are the ones who should decide what our babies need and how. And, if we are not sure about it, take advice from the doctor or from a near one who can help you. Stick with one person and don’t go for too many options because we are doing it for our baby. Therefore, you need to be patient and careful not to take random suggestions.

Lastly, I have a message for all the women who are planning to have a baby, and to the new moms out there – enjoy every step with your little ones before they grow up.
