One of the most beautiful feelings and the toughest jobs in this world is being a mother. It is more so, especially if you are a first-time mom. This phase comes with a lot of excitement, along with many new responsibilities and challenges. The biggest challenge is to breastfeed your baby. Many problems prevail in this journey.


  • Low milk supply 
One of the biggest and the most common challenges in breastfeeding is low milk supply. New mothers experiencing this issue are usually advised to eat a healthy diet. But, fret not. Eat whatever you can and take ample rest. You will reach the milestone eventually.
  • Making your baby learn to suck
You will also have to train your child to suck your nipples so that you can feed them properly, which could also be a tiring task to do, especially after a few hours of delivering the baby. You have to hold your baby, sit in a specific position and then make your little one suck. It is a tough job as you might be feeling physically weak but soon, your munchkin will learn, and you will love to see him or her being so close to you as you breastfeed them. This feeling will set aside all your pain and tiredness.
  • Appropriate position for breastfeeding 

After delivery, when you feel very weak, it is a big challenge to figure out which position suits you and your baby while breastfeeding. The position should be comfortable for you and the baby, as you will have to feed your baby often. There is a lot of information about it on the internet. You can try them and figure out what works for you and your baby.

This part of a woman’s life is quite emotional. Just be strong and keep going. You will overcome all the challenges.
