Every Kid Deserves a Parent's Valuable Time, Affection, and Attention.

Last Updated on

All of us who are parents today were kids earlier, and one thing which we loved to have was our parents’ attention.

In today’s demanding and fast-track life, it is difficult to give our dedicated time and attention to our kids, which they deserve.

The most important person of a kid’s life is usually the mother, and she also goes missing, as she can’t spare enough time for her kids due to her office work.

A parent’s love, affection, attention, and time for kids play very important roles in the growth and development of children. We will do everything we possibly can for our kids, but we miss out on the most important things, such as spending quality time with them. We will buy all the toys for them, but will not be able to take out time to play together with with those toys.

So, after knowing the fact that kids are missing out on the most important thing, can we try to do something, so that the missing bond, love, affection, and attention are given to the kids, which they deserve?

Yes, we can do that.

We always say we don’t have time, but believe me, if we use our early morning time to spend with our kids, they will be the happiest little people in the world… and even this much attention will be good for them, instead of nothing.

Secondly, avoid using toys to play with them. Instead, use your moving hands, turning and twisting fingers, nodding head, making different types of sounds, making different expressions on your face, blinking eyes, cuddling them, and so on! Believe it or not, but more than toys, kids love your touch and attention, and by doing these things, you give them the most precious thing they need – attention.

On weekends, it has become a trend to take your kids to a mall. Why do we do that? Actually, we parents want to shop, and also want to take our kids out. So, by visiting the mall, these two task get completed in one go. But, believe me, kids do not like escalators, cold breeze of the air conditioner, or the brightness of that artificial light.

Instead, take them to a garden. They love the greenery, and they will love to run freely. They will enjoy playing with the different elements in the garden, they will enjoy the real cold and peaceful breeze, and the natural light. You get all this happiness free of cost, whereas if we visit the gaming section of malls, we end up spending hundreds of rupees on that, and again our kids will be playing with machines and will miss our ATTENTION!
