Q.
Why can't we give water to the baby before 6 months?? The formula milk is also prepared using water only. Sometimes my baby wakes up with dry lips. I feel no water intake is making him dehydrated.

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. You dan start since baby us about to complete six months sbd give only boiled abd then cool water to tue baby and only in sips it should be given take care

That is because the amount of water that you used to prepare milk for the child is enough for the child which is Bhai Dr say that there is no need of giving any extra water to the child and that is why we say that you should be given water before the age of six months
