Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. give feed and continue to burp hiccups in children occur due to gas which is present in the stomach. during the feeding process child takes air along with milk and that air goes inside the stomach which irritates leading to hiccups. you have to offer feeding as well as do proper burping(for atleast 20 minutes) to decrease this problem and it is a self limiting problem

U Cannot do anything any discomfort in thing for kids and adults but they are going to start and stop their own only nothing that you cannot do and also like to tell you it has got no -1 any side-effect for that matter and also it’s very common with kids to have a hiccups
