one should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types of nutrients essential for growth.
any kind of infection specially any chronic infection should be ruled out FG and treated which may hamper the growth otherwise.
after 2 years of age you can give some powder like kids Pro/ prohance junior mix in milk twice a day for one or two months.

Well I will completely depend on the appetite of your child where in as of now I can only tell you that if your child is eating one Chapati one or two vegetables along with it then that’s good enough for the child depending like I said but mostly at this age a child can very well have at least one small Paratha with one vegetable or Dal whatever you are giving
