Q.

What can be done to improve digestion and immunity in an infant? Apart from breastfeeding, is anything else required?

A. You should exclusively breastfeed your baby. Breast milk contains a host of nutrients which are essential for a baby's growth and development. It in fact is the only food that a baby needs especially in the first 6 months of its life.If you are breast feeding, ensure to keep a check on your diet because what you eat/drink will be passed on to your baby through breast milk.

A. to improve digestion you can give saunf water or ajwain water.. you can give curd daily for good digestion.. keep baby well hydrated.. you can give for immunity dry fruit in paste or powdered form leafy vegetables rooty vegetables, citrus fruits.. nuts and seeds..
