Tips for baby to speak , he is 2.5 years old , does everything, very active too , but speaks very little and very few words ?

Doctor told me there is a tongue tie but it’s very small , it should not make any difference and we have taken our child to physchologist too he said our baby is absolutely fine , it’s just the speech delay , most imp is he understands and explains everything , what should we do ?
