Q.

sugar i do understand. but salt has iodine in it, if torally not given in childhood till 2 yrs, the baby might get deficient in it. also adding no salt makes it so bland that the baby loses interest.

A. No it is not about iodine Dr say that it is going to make the child hyperactive that is why salt and sugar should not be given but I will suggest you to give salt to the child instead of sugar you can use jaggery I have given it the same way as per my doctors advice so I’m suggesting you with my personal experience there is no problem in giving salt
