The posterior fontanelles close after about six to eight weeks after birth.
The anterior fontanelle, on the other hand, takes a little longer to close, what with a duration of about 18 to 20 weeks, which is a good one year after the birth of the child.

no need to do extra things
please feed your child on demand
maintain good hygiene
if your child looks happy healthy and active, gains enough weight then no need to worry about anything
