sir my baby is 4 months old . only drinking formula milk. is it safe

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. if breast milk is not available formula is the only option To boost lactation take lactare tablet and galact granules add oats and meat in the diet take lots of the oral fluids maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

Lot of mothers do not have enough breastmilk supply or baby does not latch properly and in this case only option left is feeding any good brand formula milk to the baby. It is fine if baby is only formula fed as it is the best alternative for breastmilk. Just make sure to mix it only in pre boiled lukewarm water and sterilize bottle after every feed.
