sir my baby 10 months old he is suffering from cold and coufgh from one week we are using t-minc and Kofarest-D but coufgh is not reduced please suggest me any other medicine

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitusshives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever isg there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

U It also give indirect steam to the child and along with that if you can nebulise the child the results are going to be much better after that so try doing this I am sure you will get better results with that because sometimes when the situations are tough in these things are really very helpful
