Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. regular cough and cold in children are most commonly associated with allergy which might be due to weather changes on temperature variations.
many times simple cough and cold is followed by secondary infections.
it is very common that children will have a recurrent cough and cold as well as fever before 5 years of age and after that a proper immunity is developed and then this problem will go away.d
get the child vaccinated for flu vaccine which will again help in decreasing this problem
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. It's perfectly normal for your child to get eight colds or more every year . This is because her immune system is still developing, which means it can't fend off cold viruses as well as an adult's . The common cold is also sometimes known as an upper respiratory tract infection .
