On level 2 scan ... Some calcium deposit on heart muscles found . Dual Marker ..NIPT done on NT NB scan..and was low risk

A. Mam it should be better over the period but what can be done as of now your doctor can advise you because this is very particular situation that you have detected into your scan so that your doctor can give you better assistance

Q. #AskTheExpert : Hi Mam, I am Neha and I am 5 months pregnant, i underwent my level 2 scan and there we found that there is calcium deposit in the heart of the baby..where it is very small and also my nipt, dual marker, nt nb scan all are fine...does this mean there is some down syndrome in the baby?? there is some paternal history of down syndrome, like my husband's first cousin brother, he is having down syndrome..so can you please help me to know does this calcium deposit effecting anything to baby's health..and also is this calcium deposit will increase with the time??
