Q.
My whole family got infected with covid 19 two months ago.By the grace of God we have recovered .My daughter Amirah who is 2yrs5m old now also got infected.She is fine now.Her meningitis vaccination is almost 44 months due.Can I get her vaccinated now.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Vaccination needs to be given to child as now the present covid situation becomes somewhat favourable.
Mandatory vaccinations should be on the priority list followed by optional vaccine later on .
Influenza vaccine can be given on priority above 6 months of age to protect against seasonal flu viruses to avoid unnecyh.essary complications in children.

Yes Since recovered long back from Covid she can go ahead with his vaccination now but you have a further clarity over this thing I would advise you to just consult it with your own personal paediatrician who ever is giving vaccination to the child he will be able to give you much more clarity over this but in general you can go ahead with it
