A. Hello good morning !! Yes its more common in toddlers around 2-3 years they mostly throw things as they feel joy in doing sounds good when we listen ,thinking of he is growing, doing naughty things but in real its the most worriest thing as it leads to damage /lost of precious things, items, might hurt others while he throws.... To control this avoid keeping things which are hazardous, precious nearby ,handy to him, simply arrange inside wardrobe/cupboards,upper shelves... Engaging into activities sorting fruits, vegetables, same colour ,different colour toys, blocks, arranging them in a sequence ,fixing ,defixing them ,writing in flour /rice grains ,play dough make sure to assist as there are chances of eating ... initially they might throw blocks/fruits /vegetables gradually after observing colours, sorting sequence they engage into fixing, sorting things... This is the way you can engage him meanwhile make him learn colours, sorting out things, improve observation....
