Q.

my sons thumb and index fingers nails are brittle suddenly.. they look white and nail is peeling/coming of like layers. can you please tell us what is this, should we worry about it?

A. Hello, your baby boy is 29 months old and he is having mostly a para nochiya a fungal infection of nail bed and needs Topiforte Nx lotion on it in the night

A. hi dear Crushing the base of the nail or the nail bed may cause a permanent deformity. Chronic picking or rubbing of the skin behind the nail can cause median nail dystrophy, which gives a lengthwise split or ridged appearance of the thumbnails.
