Q.

my son who is 4.5 years fell down while jumping and hit his side head just 3 inch above his ears. with 30 min of hit, he got a big bump and i took him to the hospital and doctor advised to give ice pack and monitor him for 2 days. the next day itself the bump was not there and i didn't keep ice pack after that. hardly gave ice pack twice. it has been almost 10 days. he is completely fine and active. I think that i wrongly noticed that the bump have gone or it reappeared. but i noticed 2 days before that a hard bump/swelling is there for about 3 to 4 cm size with a little pain. from then i keep continuing ice pack. it is a bit better. there is no scar outside or redness. should i wait for some more time before visiting doctor? or take him immediately? how long will the bump and pain exits generally? please guide.

A. YOU can get scan. you have to do a few more tests and a scan after a local doctor advice for proper treatmentIn such cases you can talk to a doctor and get some blood tests done to reach to a conclusion
