Q.

My son one year and 6 months old grinding his teeth always. What is the reason for that. Any suggestions in this regard please

A. Hi kids tend to grind their teeth due to irritation in gums during teething phase. other reason can be due to worms. for further details please consult nearby Pediatrician as early as possible.

A. Hai good evening !! Usually toddlers get irritated and show crankiness. Grinding teeth also one way of showing anxious as they can't speak fluently they show their anger , frustration by grinding teeth, hitting head, crying, stretching body. Whenever baby doing this console baby and know reason behind this. Not responding to them or favourite toy, hesitating food, want to go outside. Consoling and soothing them while they grinding teeth and ask reason or solving their anger/frustration will change this habit.
