my son is one year and 4 months old today he got a scratch from rusted iron sheet. Do we have to get him tetnis injection?

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 16 months old now he is receiving tetanus shot routinely in his vaccination like penta or hexa and he has his booster doses of DPT scheduled between 16-18 months so get that done

Shaista TarannumMom of a 16 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. yes Maam I think you should. first check upto what age tetanus is given as a part of the vaccination chart. if all doses are done then may be not required. but of not then please get it done. consult your pediatrician itself once also.
