Q.
My son is having post nasal drip problem due to which he gets recurring cough even after having the cough syrup. Kindly advice how to prevent the post nasal drip problem

Preeti MaanExpecting Mom due in 3 months5 days agoA. There are a lot of queries regarding post nasal drip in toddlers and I have all the ways to treat it. Make your child sleep with head elevated with a big pillow. Steam inhalation thrice a day. Saline nasal drops thrice a day one in each nostril till better. Cetzine syrup twice a day for three days. Also avoid cold, oily and processed food till the child is better. Try giving the child liquid diet like daliya and khichdi. I hope it helps.

Preeti MaanExpecting Mom due in 3 months5 days agoA. hi there make him sleep with his head and little elevated to avoid post nasal drip while sleeping as it would disturb his sleep and mucus will flow down to chest. Give him saline nasal drops 1 in each nostril thrice till better. Also give him syrup cetzine twice daily for 3 days. Steam inhalation is also recommended for faster relief. I hope it helps.
