Q.

my son is delivered through C-section..when he breaths there is some sound in the nose and chest like he is suffering from cold...but there is condition as of cold..no other symptoms..what should be done .he sleeps normally...

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .g As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .h Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

A. hi you may use nasal saline drops for this keep your child head slightly elevated while sleeping. keep the room temperature moderated. don't keep room temperature below 26 degree. choose weather appropriate clothes for your child.
