My son is almost 8 months old… it’s been 2 months we’re trying to make him eat solids. He just won’t eat anything, won’t open his lips, would spit everything… he only breastfeeds. How to make him eat solids ?

Namaste Mom Breast milk is baby comfort food its easy to to take the feed and on demand and later it fills their tummy too so hence would be good if you could make a diet routine and try to limit your feed and not replace it with meal time you may alter between solids and feed

I can understand your situation but it's absolutely normal even my son did the same but eventually he started to taste the food and it's going better.Initially I started solids he used to cry a lot and don't open his mouth. So keep trying one day he'll also love to eat solids.Try different flavours like fruits veggies etc

keerthanaGuardian of a 10 m old girl2 months agoA. Try for liquid 1st like you can give veggies soup and fill it in bottle then you can serve it , secondly start with puree and pomegranate juice then slowly start in feeding through spoon
