Q.

my son is 6 yrs and 10 months old.. he has not complained about any of the vision problems yet but during a health checkup in his school they found that he has a minor number . we went to eye specialist. he checked his eyes by diluting test. and number comes right eye +.075 and left eye +0.50. now from yesterday my son has started wearing specs.dr said that if he will proper specs regularly then chances are there that he can remove them permanently.just concerned that after using specs regularly is it possible to remove them permanently or he will get use to them n not able to see clearly without them and his dependency on specs will increase

A. with usage the number may decrease. it is important to follow the instructions and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not undertake medicines or medical procedures not prescribed / guided by the doctor. take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification
