Q.

my son is 5month old.. can i start ragi and banana powder as semi solids or wait till 6 months?

A. Hello mom would initially suggest to start with some Liquids for the baby such as vegetable soups , fresh fruit juices and dal or rice water and once’s baby is comfortable and is accepting it well enough then from 6 month onwards gradually you can start with semi solids and mashed foods . Would recommend to first introduce one food at a time and then gradually to combinations

A. Dear mum, you should wait till 6 months before you introduce any sort of top food for your baby. Until then you should exclusively breastfeed. Breast milk is most nutritious and complete food for baby till 6 months.
