My son is 22 months old and he only speak few words eg pappa, mumma, Baa,. He is not much vocal but he understands everything such switch on tv switch, he understands every instruction and action but unable to speak. Any particular medical test to be done or it’s normal

A. there is lot of individual variation in acquiring speech ok. if there is no relief it is advisable to see the doctor for proper examination if there is need for proper investigations also both for diagnosis and treatment
