Q.
my son is 2 years 1 month old but he is still not speaking..he only blabbers ma papa no other words.. he is an active kid but he doesn't play with toys much nor likes any playschool activities he only keeps running around..how can we make him speak and build his concentration?

Author of questionGuardian of a 5 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. yes doctor we have stopped his screen time..and trying to talk more with him and help him in activity games..but we have noticed 4 out of 10 times he does not listin to instructions nor responds when we call him..again at times he responds and follows instructions.. do we need to go for any therapy?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. if your child is able to understand and follow all the commands given and is able to you hear what you are saying with proper eye contact then do not worry much about the language skills of the child because speech will will gradually come.
try to avoid tv mobile laptop like screen time and spend more time with the child talking with the child as well as if more people are available to talk with the child and this will also improve the social and language milestones of the child.
