A. if you feel that the baby is thin then you can give variety of food to increase the weight of the baby which should meet the nutritional demand for example you can give more of dairy product and can also try dry fruits

A. Ideal weight of a 16 months old baby boy should be between 10.2 to 10.6 kgs depending on eating habits and birth weight. To help baby gain weight, include fat and protein rich foods like potato, rice, pumpkin, sweet potato, chicken, fish, egg, legumes, banana, milkshakes with dry fruits, avocado, paneer and 550-650 ml milk everyday. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks alongwith variety of fluids like water, fresh juices, curd, coconut water and buttermilk.
