The gums of kids are very hard and they can chew small bites of solid food with it.
You can start giving solids in very small bites from now itself
Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Is the child taking mashed food? If so, You should slowly change the texture otherwise he will be very much used to it that he will start refusing anything in solid form. Keep blending the food but don't blend it completely. Reduce the blending time so that the food is kind of pureed but not completely. Once he gets accustomed to it reduce the blending again so the food is coarse and not completely pureed. Take it slowly. Try giving finger foods slowly as well under ur supervision.
