Q.
MY SON IS 1 Year 9 months . HE WAS SUFFERING FROM COLD FROM COUPLE OF DAYS AND MEDICINE WAS GIVEN. But from yesterday he started coughing and sounding ghad ghad as unable to bring the cough outside. PLZ SUGGEST WHAT I NEED TO DO OR GIVEN ANY MEDICINE FOR THAT.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.
Treatment consists of antihistaminegs antipyretics analgesics and decongestants .
steam inhalation would be beneficial .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
