Q.

my son is 1 year 4 month old he could not breathe properly and he has cold from one week but he is far better better now what can cause him to breathe difficulty or any other reason for difficult breathing sir

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Sgfteam inhalation is repeated frequently .

A. could not breathe easily because of cold give steam inhalation use nasoclear saline nasal drops use Babyhug rapid relief baby rub apply warm mustard oil on baby chest back feet and gently massage at bed time
