Q.

My son has been passing green stools today after he has been vaccinated i want to ask if vaccination id causing him to pass green stools or there is another reason

A. yes vaccine can lead to green stools. the green colour that many times is present in the stool is due to the digestive enzymes (bile )present in the stomach and when the food reacts with the digestive enzymes this can give green colour to the stool. the importance is of consistency of the stool so if the consistency is watery and green then only you need to meet the doctor but if it is semi solid to solid green stool then no need to meet the doctor. can wait and watch

A. It does not happen because of the vaccination it mostly has very commonly seen by the child is having more of formula feeding or is completely having formula feeding only that I am green colour motion is completely normal and common
