Q.

My son had fever, cold and cough 10 days before. He was given antibiotics too. He is fine now but still sometimes noise comes from his nose while breathing. Is this normal?

A. respiratory secretions in a child's narrow airways can cause a "ghar...ghar" sound when air passes through. if the child’s breathing rate is normal and there are no other issues, the sound isn'dt a concern. if breathing seems difficult, use nasal saline drops to clear mucus. this issue typically improves as the child grows and their airways widen.
