give plenty of feeds , adequate rest to the baby.
indirect steam , hot water bath will also help.
consult your paediatrician if baby is feeding less, excessively drowsy or if cold increases.
post illness babies might be cranky , irritable.
nose block congestion also result in loss of appetite, difficult sucking. try different head up feeding position.
feed by spoon otherwise.
Maintain hygiene.
if bottle feeding, maintain sterility as its a common source of infections.
SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. I feel there is cold feed your baby frequently every few hours that is the best and fastest way to cure soon. You can add tulsi leaves to warm coconut oil and apply to baby's chest sole and back. Keep baby warm. Home remedies are good but it would take a longer time to recover. Babies cant bear for a long time. It's better to check with doctor once and you can treat with medicines and home remedies parallelly for faster recovery.
