Q.

My son,4 months old got his vaccine yesterday. The injection site is red and swollen. I am applying ice pack as well as thrombophob gel. Is the redness to be worried about? This has not happened in his previous vaccinations.

A. if there is swelling and redness over the injection site it may be because of DPT vaccine where you can apply some nice fomentation locally and also give paracetamol drops for fever and reducing the pain

A. It’ll Go in a day or two you keep applying ice cube every 2 to 3 hours that with the healing is going to be much more faster actually so you can keep applying keep an eye on every 2 to 3 hours for faster healing and the tube also you are applying is good also I would say that you can give paracetamol to your child every six hours
