Q.

My son 11 month old has got secondary lactose intolerance Doctor has advised to stop breastmilk and give lactose free formula milk Whenever we give his lactase enzyme drops before breastfeed he is fine Problem is he isn’t taking formula at all resisting a lot Can we continue lactase enzyme if yes for how long Besides how to encourage him for lactosefree formula Or any other suggestion ?

A. Maam your child is 11 months old at this age kids can be very choosy so if you do not have a problem check with your doctor and give regular soya milk to the child as that’s going to be a better choice you can give it in the form of milkshakes and smoothies but when it comes to formula milk has to be given directly without any flavour
