Q.
My premature baby twins are born at 31 weeks and is currently 1 month 12 days old. One twin has not passed motion for 4 days and another twin has not passed motion for 3 days. In almost 10-11 feeds in a day to both twins, we are giving PreNAN formula for 2-3 times out of 10-11 times. We are giving Domstal 0.5 ml suspension 3 times a day

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common anfod more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
