Q.

my paed has recommended solids to be fed at a gap of 3 hrs for my 6 month old son. also she recommended 700 ml of water per day for him. pls advice

A. Dear mum, neither solids should be fed every 3 hours for 6 months old baby nor should you give 700 ml of water every day. You should give 2 to 3 meals a day and up to half katori every time. Continue to breastfeed at other times. You can give few sips of water in between and after meals. Breast milk and food also contain water and fulfils the hydration needs of baby.
