Q.
my newborn is 8 days old he takes burp after having feed but still everytime I keep him down he spits again and again.i have to keep him on my shoulder so that he can sleep..why do he spit alot after burping

Burp properly after each and every feed for atleast 10 min or till baby take 4 burp Feed ur baby as per baby's demand only and Don't overfeed ur baby , as this may also cause vomit. Keep a watch on urine output Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day If persistent vomiting then need to consult

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello dear parent, this is normal. However try and feed him Little less than you usually do. Because of overfeeding babies do burp but also spit out the extra milk. So do jit worry. But if you still face the problem then must consult with your paediatrician once. Good luck and take care
