Q.

my newborn had been through phototherapy when she was 7 days old and after that her skin color got darker is this normal? and will she got her skin color back ?

A. skin duckling by photo therapy is very common and not to worry it will get natural colour in sometime. The best way to maintain good skin tone in baby is giving adequate feeding To maintain proper hydration Giving daily oil massage to the baby followed by warm water bath On regular basis for at least 1st 2 years Avoid using more of moisturizer and powder

A. hello yes darkening of the skin after phototherapy is normal and just make sure to use mild and gentle baby skin care product which is made of natural ingredient and chemical free like babyhug which can help maintain the skin tone and keep skin soft and smooth and safe
