A. For a 7-month-old baby with hard stools and constipation, you can try the following: Increase Fluids: Ensure your baby is getting enough fluids. Offer breast milk or formula more frequently to help soften the stool. Introduce Water: If you haven't already, you can begin offering small amounts of water in addition to milk, as it helps with digestion. Add Fiber-Rich Foods: Along with rice and moong dal, try incorporating fruits and vegetables like pureed apples, pears, or carrots, which are gentle on the stomach and help with bowel movements. Massage and Movement: Gently massage your baby's tummy in a circular motion to relieve gas and encourage bowel movements. You can also encourage movement by gently moving her legs as if pedaling a bicycle. If the problem persists, it would be best to consult a pediatrician to ensure there is no underlying issue and get further guidance.
