A. It sounds like your 5-year-old daughter has a limited diet focused mainly on fruits, which might be causing her stomachaches in the morning. Here are a few suggestions to help address this issue: 1. **Balanced Diet**: Try to gradually introduce a more balanced diet that includes proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. This can include foods like whole grains, lean meats, dairy, and vegetables. 2. **Small, Frequent Meals**: Offer smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day instead of three large ones. This can help her digestive system and reduce stomachaches. 3. **Healthy Snacks**: Provide healthy snacks that are appealing yet nutritious, such as cheese sticks, yogurt, nuts, or whole grain crackers. 4. **Hydration**: Ensure she drinks plenty of water throughout the day, as dehydration can also cause stomach discomfort. 5. **Routine**: Establish a regular eating routine, which can help her digestive system adjust and function better. 6. **Pediatrician Consultation**: It's essential to consult with her pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues and get personalized advice. If she continues to have stomachaches or refuses to eat a more varied diet, a pediatric nutritionist might also be helpful.
