Q.

My five month old baby was having body temperature 100.4°C at 3:30 am then I gave him paracetamol and his fever came down to 98°C after two hours. After three hours again his temperature spiked to 100.6°C and after giving him paracetamol again his temperature has now reduced to 97.2°C. ( I gave him paracetamol after a gap of 4 hours between two doses). What should i do shall i consult the doctor? He has a history of pneumonia and septicemia when he was a month old.

A. for this complete examination is requhdsired and only after that you are doctor will be able to guide you regarding this and suggest you proper treatment about it so please consult your doctor

A. Hi mom If ur baby is only having fever and no other symptoms then no need to worry. Viral fever can take 3-5 days. Repeat the dose after 5-6 hours if fever comes again. Take care
