hi Dr from one week my daughter is not well...first she got fever I gave crocin120 suspention it came down dr suggest if temperature more than 100 give meftal in two days she recover from fever then she got cough and cold yesterday consulted dr gave piriton syrup for cough it got recover...today again fever came temperature changing 98 100 so wat ti do can I give meftal....pls suggest

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatmvgent also this dose can be dagain repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
