yes it happens
usually babies do this when they feel irritation , itching or when they feel sleepy or overstimulated.
so please make sure your child takes enough sleep.
clean your child eyes with fresh tap water.
avoid overstimulation.
don't apply kajal or anything.
maintain good hygiene.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Reasons it's happening. Babies are human, and humans rub their eyes in response to all kinds of environmental allergens and emotional cues. It's not unusual to see a baby rubbing their eyes, so don't panic. But it can mean they're in some kind of discomfort or distress.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. Hi It could be due to some irritation in to the eyes you can clean the ice gently with cold water every 3 to 4 hours so that is going to be better it is going to be sorted probably over the period if not then you can consult your doctor ones
