The doctor may prescribe medications for fever and he may suggest some creams or ointments to provide relief from itching and to speed up the healing of sores. You can apply calamine lotion to ease the scratching. Dress your kid in comfortable cotton clothes. Clip your child's finger nails and prevent him or her not to touch the sores. Give plenty of fluids to drink. Garlic, apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, eggs, chicken or meat. Or soak a gauze in bicarbonate soda and water and apply on the wounds. This reduces the itchy feeling.
