A. Yes — 4.1 kg at 4 months can be a reasonable weight, especially because she was born early at 36 weeks and had a low birth weight of 1.7 kg. But because she was premature and started small, her growth should be assessed using her corrected age and her growth trend, not just one weight measurement For a girl who is 4 months chronologically, the WHO chart has a median weight around 6.4 kg, and 4.1 kg is below the usual range for a full-term 4-month-old. However, for a baby born at 36 weeks, her corrected age is roughly 3 months at 4 months chronological age (using 40 weeks as the reference), so the interpretation is different.

A. Absolutely it is actually better than the correct because we expect the child who is premature to gain about 350 g in a month and a full-time child about 500 g in a month so if you evaluate that the child was 1.7 now the child for a child gain 3300 g which is better than the expected weight gain
