Q.

My daughter is four and half months old, and she takes roughly 500-550ml /day, with intervals of 4-5,hours.. Is this suffient for her devlopment??

A. the child is gaining weight no need to worry you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping . there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern. also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits

See Every child has a very different appetite from another so if your child is gaining proper weight with whatever feed your child is taking through the day then I’m going to say it’s good enough for that I can only tell you that that’s the only demarcation we can look at when the child is on feeding if the weight is increasing that means a feeling of sufficient
