Q.

My daughter is 9 months and she can’t get up and sit on her own. We make her sit and she sits unsupported for long periods of time it’s just that she can’t get up when she’s on her back. It’s worrying me alot. She rolls over and stuff but she’s yet to sit up on her own. Should I be worried??

A. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support. After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury ffr and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.

A. at this age independently on it sit bye the age of eight years and also they can lift their body properly by this year if your child is unable to sit on its own you have to make your child sit on your child sitting for a longer duration their still there is some problem with that so it is better to tter to cross check with your doctor ones
