Q.

my daughter is 8 yrs old being vegetarian does not get b12 can you suggest any supplement or medecine for it

A. as food for the baby you can give all kind of seasonal fruits and vegetables. you can give Apple everyday .can also give mango , pomegranate,papaya and banana according to the season and requirement . avoid giving banana excessively and daily otherwise it may cause constipation. you can also give rice preparations oatmeals curd preparationsband daliya. it will be better if you are able to give dairy products daily apart from milk. refrigerated and packed foods should be avoided, junk foods should also be avoided. if you will give excessive of milk to the child the hunger may get satisfied by that and the child may not be interested in having other variety of fokod. over all you need to see that you are giving a balanced diet to your child with proper fulfillzment of nutritional and energy requirements according to the age

A. Hi mommy Give healthy protein rich nutritious food take seasonal fruits and vegetables which is rich in all minerals and vitamins maintain hydration Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc Consult with your doctor in person for proepr physical examination and treatment
